Privacy

What happens to your data when you apply to The Circle Academy, in plain language.

01Contact

For any request about your data (to see it, correct it, delete it or take it with you), write to legal@academythecircle.com. We reply within one month.

02What data we collect

Only what you enter in the application form:

If you go ahead with the mentorship, we add what's needed to run it: payments, sessions and your progress.

03What we use it for

We don't sell your data, we don't use it for third-party advertising, and applying doesn't sign you up to any newsletter.

04Who else receives it

Only the members of The Circle team who handle your application and, if you join, your mentor. To run the page we use providers that process data solely on our behalf:

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When that happens, it's with the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

05How long we keep it

06Your rights

At any time and free of charge, you can:

Just write to legal@academythecircle.com. If you think we haven't handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).

07What stays in your browser

While you fill it in, your browser saves your answers for the session so you can come back to the form without losing anything. That draft stays only on your device, is deleted when your application is sent, and you can delete it at any time under “Data and privacy” at the bottom of the page.

Your browser also saves where you came from (for example, the Instagram link you tapped). This only reaches us if you send your application.

We don't use cookies or advertising pixels.

08Ages 18 and over only

The Circle Academy is for people aged 18 and over only. We don't accept applications from minors and, if we receive one by mistake, we delete it.

This is a translation. If there is any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.
